You will find BMX saddles which are a shorter & narrower profile than standard here. While they fit just like any other saddle would, they are generally of a neater shape. This will allow you to avoid the saddle when you need to.

Some BMX bikes, and kids bike, are fitted with a ‘single piece’ saddle and seatpost. It’s common to use a single piece and an ‘integrated’ style like this to slam the seatpost as low as possible. You will often find an allen wrench can still adjust the position of the saddle though.
