Need to repair a tyre or inner tube? What a sensible idea!

We stock a broad range of repair kits & bits for repairing tyres & tubes.

Inner tubes being the most likely item to need repair, we stock stacks of patches! Patches are imminently useful to carry with you on long rides or tours as well as tube. Because sometimes you just can’t find the source of the puncture in your tyre. And you re-puncture as soon as you put the new tube in.

Don’t worry, this happens to the best of us. We can’t control for every possibility after all.

So always carry some patches for repairing a tube when all else fails.

But it’s also nice to to just reduce waste where you can. Riding bikes is great for the environment – your bike tyres are doing very little damage to the world. And it’s even nicer to integrate the practice of Reduce Reuse Recycle into your cycling life. You’re already half way there on your bike anyway!

TYRE LINERS & INSERTS

You will also find on our site Stop-A-Flat foam tubes. These are solid foam & take the place of an inner tube in your tyre.

These are commonly used in bike’s that are being ridden in the extreme Australian conditions – like farms & bush.

Because we have these incredibly well-designed thorns in the Australian environment, that will puncture anything!

So using a Stop-A-Flat insert means the thorns are simply piercing the tyre & can be removed. No air, no worries!

We also recommend these foam tyre inserts in kid’s bikes, prams or joggers. Because much as the pneumatic tyre is an incredible invention – it isn’t flawless. And the last thing you want to be doing with the kid’s on the trails is pushing a bike with a flat tyre. Or worse still, trying to fix it while keeping the kid’s entertained while you struggle. There’s nothing worse than being watched when you fix a puncture!
